Pythagorean theorem is applied to right angled triangles.

So consider one right angled triangle.

b = Base of triangle

h = height of triangle

c = hypotenuse of triangle

Pythagorean theorem : c² = b² + h² ⇒ c= √(b² + h²)

Perimeter : P = h +b + c

Area : A = ½bh

Pythagorean theorem + Perimeter + Area = c² + P + A

= b² + h² + h +b + √(b² + h²) + ½bh

= (b² + h²) + √(b² + h²) + b + h + ½bh

Pythagorean theorem + Perimeter + Area = (b² + h²) + √(b² + h²) + b + h + ½bh
