Given equation is 9x-7y = -7

Subtract 9x From each side.

9x-9x-7y = -7-9x

-7y = -7-9x

Divide by  negitive 7 to each side.

-7y/-7 = (-7-9x)/-7

y = -7/-7-9x/-7

y = 1+9x/7

y = (9/7)x+1

Compare it to slope intercept form y = mx+b.

m = 9/7 and y intercept is 1.
