Line equation is x/a+y/b = 1

Here a is x intercept and b is y intercept.

a = 4, b = 3

x/4+y/3 = 1

(3x+4y)/12 = 1

Multiple to each side by 12.

12(3x+4y)/12 = 1*12

3x+4y = 12

Subtract 3x from each side.

3x+4y-3x = 12-3x

4y = -3x+12

Divide to each side by 4.

4y/4 = (-3x+12)/4

y = -3x/4+12/4

y = (-3/4)x+3

Slope intercept form to given intercepts is y = (-3/4)x+3.
