Area of rectangle = l *b

Given rectangle area = length(height) = 132

Length(l) = 3x-6 ---> (1)

Height = 8

8(3x-6) = 132

24x-48 = 132

Add 48 to each side.

24x = 180

Divide to each side by 24.

x = 7.5

Substitute the x value in (1).

l = 3(7.5)-6 = 16.5

Length of rectangle = 16.5.
