Given line 2x - 5y  = 6

To find intercept substitute y = 0 in 2x - 5 = 6.

2x - 5(0) = 6

2x - 0 = 6

2x  = 6

Divide each side by 2.

2x /2 = 6/2

x  = 3

Coordinates of x intercept of the line 2x - 5y  = 6  is ( 3 , 0).
