Given equation y-1.25x = 0

Add 1.25x to each side.

y-1.25x+1.25x = 0+1.25x

y = 1.25x

Direct variation equation y = kx

Direct variation equation of a line is y = mx.

For x = 0 then y = 0.

For x = 1 then y = 1.25

For x = -1 then y = -1.25.

Graph

Draw the coordinate plane.

Plot the points (0,0),(1,1.25),(-1,-1.25).

Connect the plotted points.

Then formed line is indicates given direct variation equation.
